Imran Khan Moved to Hospital on Court Orders

Pakistan's Supreme Court has ordered jailed former Prime Minister Imran Khan transferred from Adiala prison to Shifa International Hospital in Islamabad after weeks of public protests over his visibly deteriorating health. Khan's party spokesperson Zulfikar Bukhari confirmed the transfer, which follows sustained street pressure and mounting international concern. Khan has been held since 2023 on charges his supporters describe as politically motivated.
