UK CEO Pay Hits Record, Now 130 Times Worker Wages
The pay gap between Britain's top executives and ordinary workers has hit its widest point in eight years, according to the High Pay Centre's final report. FTSE 100 chief executives now earn a median £5.06 million — a figure that grew 8.6% in a single year while most workers saw far smaller rises. The ratio of CEO-to-worker pay now stands at 130 to one.
