Boeing IT outage disrupts production on final day of Q2

A coast-to-coast computer outage hit Boeing's commercial and military factories on the last day of Q2 — the single most important day of the quarter for deliveries and financial results. Final aircraft inspections were stalled and some handovers to customers could not be completed, threatening to dent the company's quarterly numbers. Production sites from Washington state to Florida were all affected.
