White House lifts export ban on Anthropic's most advanced AI models

The US Commerce Department has reversed its export controls on Anthropic's Claude Fable 5 and Mythos 5, weeks after abruptly suspending foreign access over hacking concerns. The models — among the most capable AI tools currently available — can now be re-released globally. Separately, Anthropic announced Claude Science, a new autonomous research product aimed at pharmaceutical and biotech users.
