UK and Japan agree £18bn investment deal
The UK and Japan are set to sign £18 billion worth of investment agreements, with Prime Minister Keir Starmer welcoming Japanese counterpart Sanae Takaichi to Downing Street on Sunday ahead of the G7 summit. The package is expected to create tens of thousands of jobs across the UK. The deal represents one of Britain's largest bilateral investment commitments since leaving the EU.
