Trump gives Iran 48-hour Hormuz ultimatum

Donald Trump has issued a 48-hour ultimatum demanding Iran open the Strait of Hormuz, threatening to "obliterate" Iranian power plants if it refuses. Iran has responded by warning it will target all US energy infrastructure in the region, while Saudi Arabia expelled Iran's military attaché and four embassy staff following an attack on its Yanbu oil export port. The US military claims it has already struck Iranian coastal missile sites to degrade Tehran's ability to threaten the strait.
