UK Arrests Four Suspected of Spying for Iran
Counter-terrorism police have been granted extended custody — until 13 March — to question four men, including one Iranian national and three dual British-Iranian nationals, arrested on suspicion of conducting surveillance on Jewish locations and individuals for Iranian intelligence. Detectives are investigating whether the alleged spying was preparation for attacks on British soil. The arrests come as the UK–Iran relationship deteriorates sharply amid the wider regional conflict.
