US Bombs Iran for 12th Night, Signs Saudi Nuclear Deal
The US military has launched its 12th consecutive night of strikes on Iran, hitting cities including Ahvaz and Bushehr, while Iran's precision missiles killed three US soldiers at a Jordan base. On the same day, the Trump administration signed a landmark nuclear cooperation agreement with Saudi Arabia that could eventually allow Riyadh to enrich uranium domestically — a notable concession given the war with Iran is ostensibly being fought to prevent exactly that. Energy Secretary Chris Wright and Saudi Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman signed the deal in Washington.
