House Passes $1.15 Trillion Military Bill, Eyes $95 Billion Iran War Fund

The US House has passed a $1.15 trillion defense bill that expands military cooperation with Israel, largely along party lines, while also voting to begin drafting a separate $95 billion reconciliation bill to fund the Iran war and provide farm aid. Republicans slipped a long-shot attempt at new nationwide voting restrictions into the reconciliation measure, passing the budget resolution 216–214.
