US Strikes Iran Military Site as Ceasefire Strains
US forces have hit a military installation in Bandar Abbas, Iran's strategic port city, and shot down four Iranian attack drones, even as officials insist a ceasefire technically holds. Markets are rallying on hopes that US-Iran nuclear talks could eventually reopen the Strait of Hormuz, through which roughly a fifth of global oil flows. Israel has simultaneously ordered mass displacement across south Lebanon, with the Lebanese Health Ministry reporting 3,269 deaths since March 2.
