Sudan's army chief rejects talks, vows total military victory

Sudan's army chief General al-Burhan has flatly rejected peace negotiations with the Rapid Support Forces, pledging to retake every inch of territory lost in the civil war. The declaration came as fresh clashes killed at least 10 civilians in West Kordofan and displaced 5,500 more in Blue Nile on Tuesday alone.
