Boeing engineers vote to strike after rejecting contract
Members of SPEEA, the union representing 17,000 Boeing engineers and technical workers, rejected what Boeing called the largest wage increases it has offered in 40 years and voted overwhelmingly to authorise a strike. Boeing immediately retaliated by withdrawing perks it had promised for early ratification, escalating a standoff that threatens production across multiple programmes.
