Colombia's new right-wing president vows armed group crackdown
Abelardo De La Espriella has been sworn in as Colombia's president, replacing leftist Gustavo Petro and extending the rightward political trend sweeping Latin America. He has promised to crush narco-terrorism, a sharp rhetorical and policy break from his predecessor's negotiation-heavy approach. De La Espriella won June's presidential runoff by a narrow margin.
