Taco Bell Lettuce Supplier Linked to Parasite Outbreak

Federal health officials are investigating iceberg lettuce from supplier Taylor Farms, used in Taco Bell restaurants, as the likely source of an ongoing cyclosporiasis outbreak affecting at least four US states. The parasitic illness causes severe gastrointestinal symptoms and the outbreak has spread across Michigan, Ohio, West Virginia, and Kentucky.
