DOJ greenlights $111bn Paramount-Warner Bros merger

The Trump Justice Department's antitrust division has approved the $111 billion merger between Paramount Skydance and Warner Bros Discovery, clearing the biggest media consolidation in years. The deal, backed by the Ellison family, will combine the studios behind HBO, CNN, and a vast library of film and TV assets under one roof. The merger still faces a UK competition investigation.
