Musk Testifies Under Oath at OpenAI Trial

Elon Musk took the stand at the Musk v. Altman trial, testifying under oath that he co-founded OpenAI specifically to prevent a so-called "Terminator outcome" from an unchecked Google AI monopoly. He accused OpenAI president Greg Brockman of betraying the original nonprofit mission by transforming the company into a profit-seeking enterprise. The judge warned both Musk and Sam Altman to stop using social media to inflame the proceedings.
