Meta to harvest employee keystrokes to train AI models
Meta has built an internal tool that records employees' mouse movements and button clicks to generate training data for its AI systems — a surveillance-meets-development approach that blurs the line between workplace monitoring and model improvement. The company has not disclosed which employees are subject to the tool or what limits, if any, exist on the data collected.
